New Orleans: The City

“The goal...is to explore and track myriad geographical circumstances that humans have exploited, enjoyed, tolerated, battled, and created throughout the tumultuous three-century history of this city...by examining three premier circumstances influencing the city we know today: situation, topography, and culture.” Richard Campanella from Time and Place in New Orleans In the location of the current Frenchmen Street Art Market, an art museum was designed with a glass cube as the ultimate destination to view special exhibitions. This raised vantage point allowed new views above the city as well as those for the passersby in the street. Collaborator: Kyle Novak
